It's very rare that you can say that an Air Jordan colorway is being retroed for the first time these days, but that is indeed the case with the "Playoff" Retro 13. Made famous by MJ in the 1998 All-Star Game and NBA Playoffs of that season, the shoe also known as the "Black Cat" features a tumbled black leather upper, white pods and small hits of varsity red and vibrant yellow on detail points throughout.
One of the year's most anticipated sneaker releases, the "Playoffs" will officially drop at retailers this Saturday. If you're a sneakerhead in New York City, Yonkers, Los Angeles or Decatur and find yourself looking for a spot pick up your pair, Footaction is holding midnight launch events in each city. All events will feature raffles and prizes, while DJ Greg Street will be holding things down in Decatur. Check out the flyers below for specifics on the event being held in your neck of the woods.
